The Lost City of Atlantis- Part1

Hey Adventurers! Here's a story that screams ADVENTURE!! This story type post is based on The Lost City- Atlantis [ this name was also used for a movie that was the inspiration ] This post may have some real facts but mostly will be fictional.. It will mostly contain items made up by me. My school friend who is also an amazing blogger helped me write this story and gave me some ideas! Thanks! Anyway, I hope you like it. I've also added a sketch- have tried my best 🙉.

Chapter 1- History Class Lesson

Troy, Ollie, Harmony and Clary were students in Lincoln High... The bell rang it was history period for the four of them. "Wonder what boring thing will be taught in history" , complained Troy. Troy wasn't interested at all in studies he was more of a sports guy. He got average grades in school but the king of sports. He was the most popular boy in school but poor in studies. You never take an effort to learn anything Troy! said Ollie. Ollie Akana was an all rounder in all subjects. He always get an A+.. He is a hard worker. Troy and Ollie were the exact opposites . His favourite subject was history - he finds it very fascinating. His mom was an archaeologist. A thirst to learn more about the past runs in the family. Back to History Class- The students usually sleep through class but there was a lesson that intrigued. Filled with mystery and suspense. She took a lesson on Atlantis! Except for Troy. He mimicked a snore. "Students today we will be taking a very interesting lesson which is on Atlantis. I have been watching all of you sleep and snore through class so I thought why not tell you about Atlantis said their history teacher Miss Garcia. The story of Atlantis was first told around 360 B.C.

Atlantis was the most popular place once upon a time. Famous for its rare jewels found deep inside the see, especially for its Red Coral Jem stones. The Instrument of life was the very reason why Atlantis existed. The very existence of Life.. Many have tried to but gave up. It's no child's play! It was located in the ATLANTIC OCEAN. It was protected by a very strong spirit. There are many obstacles and tests you need to pass to retrieve it. Archaeologists and historians are still trying to retrieve the mystery. It is said that Atlantis was perished by a Tsunami but the Instrument still remains protected but this may or may not be true [ whether Atlantis was perished or not ].

There are still researches, digs, studies which are still happening regarding Atlantis. This is just a rumour, no one really knows what happened - this remains as a complete mystery. Some have have survived the Tsunami. This story never proved if Atlantis was real or not. Many people believed this was true went in search of Atlantis and The Instrument and never ever returned." Miss Garcia narrated the story. From next class we resume our lessons! shouted Miss Garcia as the students left class. For the rest of the day all the four could think was about Atlantis. This is not the whole story, it was found in bits and pieces. It may or may not be no body knows the truth.

CHAPTER TWO- THE MYSTERY ASSIGNMENT

It was night time, Ollie was sleeping. For a few days he had this same repetitive dream. He see's that his mom is missing, a ruined land-sunken in water, a land underwater thriving. He immediately woke up- he was very sweaty! He kept thinking, his mom wasn't reachable for two months and this repetitive dream he was indeed confused. He saw a map, a room filled with information it seemed like a secret research. He grew curious. He was worried, he hasn't heard back from his mom, he tried to contact all ways he can. He needed to find out what the mystery assignment was. He went to the fridge to have some water and sat in the couch deeply thinking. He couldn't stop obsessing over this. He started searching the whole house for clues. Finally came to his mom's shelf and went over her clothes. He found a switch in the corner of her shelf and to his surprise, he discovered a secret room which belonged to his mom.

Can you guess what the mystery assignment was? Yes, It was about Atlantis! He spent the whole night reading and going through the boxes. The next day, when he went to school his eyes were weary and he looked extremely tired/ exhausted. He slept through class- which he never does. Troy observed all this and grew suspicious. He planned on following Ollie back home. He saw that Ollie went his mom's room and everything- he saw it through the window. Ollie fell asleep- this was the chance for Troy to discover what mischievousness/secret Ollie was up to. He saw the whole research on Atlantis. "Ollie thinks he is a big hero well I'll show him who I am!" thought Troy. Ana is an Instagram influencer. She wanted to go in search of Atlantis for fame, for more followers and to add this to her Snapchat story. Clary was an adventurer and a history lover ! she couldn't resist uncovering the mystery of Atlantis. The four had their own reasons to go but this was not a "Me" trip. It was a "We" trip.
